Import sets are an exciting technology within ServiceNow. It allows you get data into the system quickly and easily: so quick that we'll race against a brewing cup of coffee! But there is a lot more under the covers. Imports can be scheduled, run on demand or via script. Transform maps can be used to quickly map data, even automatically. And advanced techniques lets you use the normalisation and transformation system to ensure your data is always of great quality. Of course, being ServiceNow, you can write scripts to make the system do exactly what you want. This lab session is good for a range of experiences: we start at a basic level, sharing tips and tricks to ensure you are efficient, but also ramps up to give an overview of the more advanced topics so everyone will be able to bring good data into ServiceNow.
