The CareWorks Family of Companies provides a complete suite of innovative claims and medical management services for workers' compensation, disability, and integrated absence management. These services enable employers to control costs while enhancing employee productivity. Each of the CareWorks companies had outsourced IT entirely or developed IT "silos," through acquisition or organic growth of startup businesses. The result: separate help desks, change management processes, infrastructures, and core business systems.

In this session, CareWorks Chief Technology Officer Bart Murphy will describe how CareWorks is using ServiceNow as the foundation for a shared services infrastructure that serves all of the CareWorks companies. That infrastructure now automates onboarding/off boarding of employees and contractors, tracks audit testing, manages mobile devices, integrates with other tools, and enables continuous service improvement across the entire enterprise. Bart will also offer observations and recommendations attendees can use to initiate and accelerate similar initiatives at their own organizations.
