In this session, Flextronics will share the complication experienced when requesting new VMs due to disparate processes and local VM teams being challenged to individually configure over 200 sites depending on the type of VM, the class, the location, and the users that would be controlling the VM. With ServiceNow, Flextronics now has a full VM provisioning capability with customizations and startups scripts, adding to domain, creating the computer name after validations, with full naming convention, approvals and email notifications. The organization not only saves time needed to provision the machines but also saves money from having centralized resources. You will hear how Flextronics is now able to maintain its own private cloud, where people around the globe can ask for a VM machine with their local customizations.
