Universities have many media events occurring each month that need support from IT and AV teams. Tracking the equipment needed for each event and the personnel assigned to support the event is a grueling task. By implementing a solution in ServiceNow, Brigham Young University made information more readily available to support crews on-site and lowered the reliance on in-office staff for coordination. In this session, you'll hear how event data is now pushed out to a shared Exchange calendar where all workers can click through to ServiceNow to get full details on an event and access contact information for their coworkers. Additionally, event schedulers are able to see which technicians have the right skills to support an event, and technicians can see where they need to be and what equipment is required for the event.
