Everyone wants a simpler life. You introduce ServiceNow to your company and what do a lot of your IT customers say in the back of their mind? "Not another username and password to remember!" Never fear for SAML is here. Don your cape because you will be the user's hero when you swoop in to tell them that their login to ServiceNow can be seamless and nearly invisible with your good friend SAML. During this lab you will set up a ServiceNow instance to authenticate with SAML single sign on. You'll not only understand how to set up the system, but you will understand how SAML works. We'll even dig a little deeper and show you how to trace the SAML redirection flows to see what is going on under the covers. By the time you are done with this lab, you'll have such an intimate association with SAML, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
