During this session a panel of leading Pharmaceutical enterprises will discuss the evolution of SaaS in the Pharma and Life Sciences industries, led by ServiceNow CTO Arne Josefsberg and KPMG Global Cloud Enablement Leader Rick Wright. With the advent adoption of Cloud/SaaS based technologies and the lack of clear regulatory guidance, by many Pharmaceutical enterprises, and with the FDA regulations for Validated (IQOQ) environments being vague and outdated, Pharma/Life Sciences companies enterprises are forced to have individually interpreted the regulations leading to high variability in the requirements. The goal of the Pharma Community Cloud initiative, whose members are leading Life Science companies, is to standardize compliance requirements for the ServiceNow solution to meet internal and external regulatory requirements for the Life Science industry. The intent of the proposed framework is to lead to a more efficient ServiceNow cloud/SaaS operation and increase elevate to a higher cloud / SaaS adoption among the Pharmaceutical community. The strong collaboration between ServiceNow and its Pharmaceutical customers will serve as a model that can influence the development of GxP cloud/SaaS standards.
