Abraxas is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) active in the Swiss Market. Through the nature of its business, Abraxas must manage large quantities of IMAC. To do this, a central team accesses ServiceNow via a PC and performs asset and configuration management activities. The field service team is then responsible for installing, moving, and replacing workstations. ServiceNow has been configured to manage asset and configuration management, leveraging out of the box functionality. On top of this, Abraxis have built specific catalog items to manage IMAC; trigger the relevant tasks; and update the CMDB. Additionally, a custom iPhone app has been developed to interface with ServiceNow, allowing field technicians to operate remotely.
