In this lab, you will learn how field normalization can clean up your data to provide better consistency and reporting by:

* Converting different forms of the same field value (such as San Diego, SanDiego, and SD) to a single, preferred value (such as San Diego)
* Coalescing multiple records with different forms of the same field value (such as 5 items by HP, 3 items by Hewlett-Packard) into a single, consolidated record (8 items by HP)
* Rounding similar values (such as memory size 7999MB, 8100MB, and 8200MB) to a standardized, meaningful value (such as 8192MB)

Prerequisites: ServiceNow administration.
