Williams-Sonoma, Inc., the premier specialty retailer of home furnishings and gourmet cookware in the United States, was one of the first retail organizations to deploy ServiceNow. This session will recap the initial approach taken as well as key decisions that were made to quickly implement ServiceNow with limited impact to existing processes and models given compliance and business requirements. It also will highlight the evolution of the environment and prioritization of changes to transition from a highly customized and rigid instance to a much more streamlined one that maintains all audit compliance and supports numerous business unit requirements.

This session will share best practices and lessons learned that have made the Williams-Sonoma ServiceNow instance the core of their ITSM architecture, and will share key best practices for the retail industry, especially those needing to support compliance requirements such as SOX. It will also present an operational model that leverages a global service provider to accelerate change and deployment of new features in a fast and effective manner.
